This site contains the interactive network graphs and visualisations — based on Social Network Analysis methods — which are a complement to my PhD thesis (Jacobite Gaels 1746–1763). The thesis is exploration of the social and economic circumstances of men and women from across the Jacobite Highlands, from the embers of the defeat at Culloden in 1746 to the end of the Seven Years' War in 1763 – and their embedded connectivity across the Gaelic, British, European and imperial worlds during this period. Alongside this, the site also contains several stories introducing some of the most fascinating individuals to emerge from my studies over the years.
